The Campsite for the Hay Festival 2015

Looking to Camp Close to the 2016 Hay Festival?

New arrangements will be coming into play for 2016. The site will continue next year but with a new operator in charge as the family who have run the site since its inception have decided to hand over to someone else. Negotiations are currently underway with several parties interested in running the site during the 2016 Festival.

Once an agreement has been reached details of how you can make contact and book with that new operator will be posted to this site and to the Wye Meadow Facebook page. Please be patient, bookmark this page and return to it when the new operator has been announced. We will additionally be e-mailing 2015 campers to advise them of how they will be able to camp at Wye Meadow in 2016.

During the Festival Wye Meadow Camping can provide you with:

  • A pitch close to the Festival that provides parking for your car right next to your tent or caravan
  • Toilet & Shower Blocks that are kept clean and are regularly serviced throughout the Festival
  • Fresh drinking water supplied straight off the water mains.
  • Find out more by clicking on the "Camping" links - (1) Pitches & (2) Facilities

Wye Meadow offers camping every year during the days when the Hay Festival is in full swing.... Sorry, we are not open at any other time.

If you'd like to see what some of those who camped with us at previous festivals have been kind enough to write to us about Wye Meadow, please go to the closest thing we have to an electronic guest book
