Looking to Camp Close to the 2020 Hay Festival?

Thank you to all who have been in touch with their concerns about being able to camp on Wye Meadow Camping for the Hay Festival in 2020 and to all the potential site operators  who showed an interest in running Wye Meadow during that period.

We are pleased to announce that after considering several excellent proposals received from other operators, an agreement has been reached with the owner of Gypsy Castle Camping to extend the site’s operations for 2020 into our main field.

All those interested in camping for next year’s Festival should book through Gypsy Castle Camping.

If you stayed on the site last year and made a 2020 booking for which you have not received a refund from the sites operators for 2019, you should act on the following statement from the firm currently administering Pillow affairs:

‘In respect of the upcoming Hay Festival 2020, if you have booked a pitch with Pillow Adventure Travel Company Ltd, please be advised that this Company has ceased to trade and will likely be entering into Liquidation towards the end of January 2020.  In the circumstances your booking is no longer valid.  For further information please contact Irwin Insolvency on telephone number 024 7693 9078 or by email at michelle.pratt@irwinuk.net.’

Everything else on these webpages relates to the site how it operated in 2015 and previously.

Wye Meadow offers camping every year during the days when the Hay Festival is in full swing.... Sorry, we are not open at any other time.
